The <br /> discussed the typing tequirements for the position which are set a 50 w.p.m. and felt Chat <br /> typing was not as much of a rgirernent in the' reasrerx Collector office as it was <br /> for a Principal Clerk position in the Board of HealthDepartment. <br /> Muilyn Farren reminded Board-members that tete Board sent Bob Whritenour a note to <br /> review clerical inion job descriptions. <br /> Board mernbers agreed that the job descriptions in the clerical mon needed to be <br /> updated. Some discussion centered around the problems the Board had in filing the <br /> position at the Poke Department btcause of the job description of an Administrative <br /> Assistant. The position had to be filed.at an Adnitfistrative Secretary level. <br /> haervinn-of final Clem <br /> The Board, along with Anne Shave, Treasurer, interviewed two candidates for the full- <br /> time union position of Principal Clerk: Jeer-ugh Beaton and Suzanne Felton. <br /> Candidates werd acMsed of the-rate of pay Bch is $10.90.hourly and of the hours of <br /> the position 1/2 hours). The background of each candidate wag reviewed as it <br /> related to the requirements ofthe job. Prior to the interviews, candidates were tested for <br /> their typing sIdUs and were given a proficiency test for their use of the cak ator. After lengthy discussion,'tey coed the meeting tne'to start <br /> future meetings at 3:60 P.m. and end the meeting around 5:oo p.m. on Monday and <br /> Thursday aftemoons. The Board agreed that.the Thursday meets would only be <br /> dedicated to working on the Personnel Administration Pian. <br />
