MAS]HPEE PERSONNEL BOARD <br /> MINUTES of MARCH 2 , 1995 <br /> NLkSBPEE TOWN HALL <br /> The following members of the Personnel Board were present: Joseph Dellagala and <br /> Norma Kumin. Anne Shaw, the Treasurer/Tax Collector was also present during the <br /> meeting. <br /> Chairman Dellagala convened the meeting at 3:15 p.m. <br /> Article for Part-Time Clerk <br /> Marilyn Farren advised the Board that she submitted a request to the Board of Selectmen <br /> asking them to create a part-tine Clerical position for the Personnel Department. This <br /> article world be put in place of the article requesting an increase of hours for the <br /> Floating Clerk. <br /> She noted that by creating a part-tine position, there would be no need to appropriate <br /> money for benefits such as Health insurance and, therefore,would save the Town money. <br /> Interviews for Clerk water District) <br /> The Board, along with Anne Shaw, Treasurer/Tax Collector, interviewed the following <br /> candidates for the position of Clerk to the water District: Katie Williams,.Barbara <br /> Gardiner and Melinda Deponte. Another candidate,, Melissa LeClair, failed to slow for <br /> her appointment. <br /> Chairman Dellagala. advised candidates of the rate of pay of$7.69 9 n hour and the hours <br /> of the position. Candidates were also advised that the position was funded by the Water <br /> District and that Anne Shaw is the Supervisor. <br /> The background of each candidate was reviewed in relation to the qualifications of the <br /> position. <br /> Note: Prior to the interviews, candidates were given a typing test and tested for their <br /> proficiency in the use of a calculator. <br /> After the interview process was complete, the Burd narrowed down the selection <br /> process to consider: 1. Katie Williams and 2. Barbara Gardiner. <br />
