._w <br /> PERSONNEL' BOARD <br /> MINUTES OF THURSDAY., JUNE 29, 1995 <br /> MA SBP!EtkT'0WN HALL <br /> The following members of the personnel Board were present: Joseph Dellagala, <br /> Chairman, Ronald Levine, Norma Kurnin and Carole Dunivan. <br /> Chairman Defla ala convened the meeting at 3:05 p.m. <br /> Circulation,Assistant <br /> Norma Kumin advised the Board that she assisted the Librarian and one of the <br /> 'trustees in interviewing candidates for the part-time position of Circulation Assistant.- <br /> Five <br /> ssistant:Five people were interviewed for the position. Sandra Price of Pocasset is the <br /> number one choice. Sandra has Library experience working for the library in <br /> Plymouth (which is considered one of the best facilities in the state). Personnel Board <br /> members concurred with the recommendation and will recommend to the Board of <br /> Selectmen. <br /> Part-Tui ne Disvatcher <br /> Sergeant Umina, frail McDonald, and Firefighter Jack Phelan an assisted the Boiwd in <br /> interviewing candidates for the position of part-tine dispatcher. Candidates <br /> interviewed were Julie Mc 'el, enj amm erry, Jr., and Dale darks. Each <br /> candidate was advised that the position was a part-time on-call position working a <br /> non-traditional work schedule which might include weekends s and holidays. They <br /> were advised that there no benefits until after a one year probationary period provided <br /> they work at least 780 hours a year. mer the one-year probationary period, there <br /> would be some pro-rated vacation and sick leave benefits. They were also advised <br /> that the rate ofay was .7hrly. Each candidate was given a job description. <br /> Candidates background and work experience was reviewed as it related to the job. <br /> Upon conclusion of the interview process, the interviewing panel was in agreement to <br /> recommend Benjamin Perry, Jr. and Dale Parks to Chief Pr ybylek and Chief Baker <br /> for a second interview. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 5:40 p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> rt <br /> Marilyn F en <br /> Personnel Administrator <br /> rrrf <br />
