Conservation Commission Minutes Thursday, July 12, 2018 Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room Present: Dale McKay, Tom O’Neill, Chad Smith, Brad Sweet, Steve Cook Also Present: Conservation Agent Andrew McManus, and Judy Daigneault, Recording Secretary CALL MEETING TO ORDER: 5:55 p.m. Chair Dale McKay opened the meeting at 5:55 p.m. No Public Comments PRE/POST-HEARING AGENDA: Minutes: Approve June 28, 2018 Minutes Motion: Mr. Steele moved to approve the June 28, 2018 minutes with one change, seconded by Mr. Smith. Vote unanimous 4-0 ADDITIONAL TOPICS (This space is reserved for topics that the Chairman did not reasonably anticipate would be discussed). The Agent noted at the June 14 meeting, dock projects at 21 Metacomet Road and 70 Popponesset Island Road were approved with conditions the applicants meet with the Shellfish Constable. Rick York, Shellfish Constable required some conditions at Popponesset Road regarding monitoring the area for accumulating seaweed and potential use of the area for possible shellfish propagation. At Metacomet Road, Rick York recommended the elimination of two piles and replacement with a longer ramp and the homeowner was agreeable to that. The Agent stated the hearing for the changes in regulation 27 will be advertised and held on July 26 in order for the public to comment. He requested if the Commissioners had any changes to let him know. HEARINGS: 6:00 Christopher P. Habib and Mark Doran, LLC, 438 Quinaquisset Avenue. Proposed septic system upgrade and associated hardscaping and landscaping. At request of applicant, continued from 5/24 and 6/14 NOI Motion: Mr. Sweet moved to continue the hearing at the request of the applicant to August 9, 2018 @ 6:00 p.m., seconded by Mr. Smith. Vote unanimous 4-0
