<br /> <br />Conservation Commission Minutes <br />Thursday, July 12, 2018 <br />Mashpee Town Hall <br />Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> <br />Present: Dale McKay, Tom O’Neill, Chad Smith, Brad Sweet, Steve Cook <br /> <br />Also Present: Conservation Agent Andrew McManus, and Judy Daigneault, <br />Recording Secretary <br /> <br />CALL MEETING TO ORDER: 5:55 p.m. <br /> <br />Chair Dale McKay opened the meeting at 5:55 p.m. <br /> <br />No Public Comments <br /> <br />PRE/POST-HEARING AGENDA: <br /> <br />Minutes: Approve June 28, 2018 Minutes <br /> <br />Motion: Mr. Steele moved to approve the June 28, 2018 minutes with one change, seconded <br />by Mr. Smith. Vote unanimous 4-0 <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL TOPICS <br />(This space is reserved for topics that the Chairman did not reasonably anticipate would be <br />discussed). <br /> <br />The Agent noted at the June 14 meeting, dock projects at 21 Metacomet Road and 70 <br />Popponesset Island Road were approved with conditions the applicants meet with the Shellfish <br />Constable. Rick York, Shellfish Constable required some conditions at Popponesset Road <br />regarding monitoring the area for accumulating seaweed and potential use of the area for possible <br />shellfish propagation. At Metacomet Road, Rick York recommended the elimination of two piles <br />and replacement with a longer ramp and the homeowner was agreeable to that. <br /> <br />The Agent stated the hearing for the changes in regulation 27 will be advertised and held on July <br />26 in order for the public to comment. He requested if the Commissioners had any changes to let <br />him know. <br /> <br /> <br />HEARINGS: <br /> <br />6:00 Christopher P. Habib and Mark Doran, LLC, 438 Quinaquisset Avenue. Proposed <br />septic system upgrade and associated hardscaping and landscaping. At request of <br />applicant, continued from 5/24 and 6/14 NOI <br /> <br />Motion: Mr. Sweet moved to continue the hearing at the request of the applicant to August <br />9, 2018 @ 6:00 p.m., seconded by Mr. Smith. Vote unanimous 4-0 <br /> <br /> <br />
