Design Review►Committee-Mr. Cuffings reported that 26 Malley Toad was seeking <br /> approval for an accessory apartment but that,no site plan was submitted and more accurate <br /> documentation was necessary. There was also some confusion regarding the allowable size of <br /> the accessory apartment. Mr. Cummings also reported that there was an issue regarding the <br /> pavement of Blue Castle Drive in Ockway Highlands where the developer wished to pave only <br /> in front of the units he planned to build, located in the middle of the road. The issue has been <br /> referred to'down Counsel as nice homeownem were located on the street to Great Neck Road. <br /> 1r. Fuda coed that the road was not within the road layout. <br /> F <br /> Community Preservation Committee-Ms. Waygan referenced the draft Town Meeting <br /> Warrant reporting that Articles 8-15 were supported by the Community Preservation Committee <br /> and included the following: <br /> # --Set aside 10% <br /> #9—$115,000 to complete Phase U of Community Park re-development <br /> #10- $6501,000 to redevelop Great River Bart Ramp and parking spaces <br /> 11--$3261,000 for Johns pond beach improvements;there was discussion <br /> regarding the need for increased security measures to prevent vandalism which Ms. waygan will <br /> share with the DPW Director <br /> #12—$2001)000 to increase the Mousing Assistance Program at the Mashpee <br /> Housing Authority <br /> 1 —$171,800 to rehabilitate the basketball court at the Boys& Girls Club <br /> #14--$21,000 to rehabilitate the HVAC system at the Boys & Girls Club <br /> 1 —$11-4,490 to fund the Shellfish Propagation and Nitrogen Removal Program <br /> Town meeting will tape place at 7:00 p.m. on October 21. Mr. Fudal reported that the Town <br /> Manager has requested that n departments submit requests for CPA funds without Town <br /> Manager review in order to conserve CPA funds. <br /> Environmental Oversfight Committee-The Chair reported that discussion had revolved <br /> mound nitrogen reduction and corking cooperatively with the Cape Cod Commission regarding <br /> possible regional plan. A public hearing will be conducted on August 21 at 6 3 0.regarding the <br /> proposed Capewide DCPC. written comments are being accepted until August 21. The Chair <br /> stated that the EOC was drafting a letter of support.
