Mashpee Board of Sewer Commissioners <br /> Meeting Mnutes <br /> July 19, 2011 at 7 p.m. <br /> lashpee Town Hall, Selectmen's fleeting Boon <br /> AURroved 5-0 on 8-30-11 <br /> Present: Chairman Toni Fudala, Jack Malarkey,.Oskar Klenert, dark Gurnee, Joe Lyons <br /> CAVE To ORDER F <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Fudala. <br /> "PROVAL of MINUTES June 21, 2011 <br /> It was suggested that `optione' be changed to scenarios' on page 4, paragraph 3. <br /> Mr.I lenert made a motion to approve the minutes of June 20 as amended, Mr. <br /> Malarkey seconded t1 a motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> AGENDAITEMS <br /> Status of GIFID Tasks <br /> -Regina Villa Associates Public outreach Work-Jeff Gregg indicated that there was nothing <br /> new to report. <br /> k <br /> --GHD Hydraulic 'Vesting at Transfer Station Site-Mr. Gregg sued that a draft report had <br /> been submitted detailing the testing, but that he had not yet been in contact with DEP. <br /> modeler bad been contracted to model the mound, but the results had not yet been'reviewed. Mr. <br /> Gregg stated his intent to incorporate feedback from the Commission about the draft and the <br /> mounding results into his next report. Mr. Gregg indicated that the site offered a lot of discharge <br /> potential. There was discussion regarding DFP requirements and loading rates. <br /> -MFEPA Notice of Project Change-Chairman Fudala reported that the Board of Selectmen <br /> would begin work on hiring for the position of Sewer Administrator, who would take on the <br /> responsibility of the MEA Notice of Project Change, and inquired whether there would be time <br /> to bile the change. Mr. Gregg recommended that NEPA be contacted, but that the previous <br /> Notice had been filed after the 3 year period} Mr. Gregg will refer to his notes to identify the <br /> previous MEPA contact. Mr. Gregg cautioned against waiting too long to file the Notice. <br /> Status of GHD Proposals on Next WNNT"Scenrios'-Mr. Gregg displayed a map <br /> representing the new draft scenarios, highlighting Barnstable in blue, Falmouth in orange, <br /> Sandwich in green and Mi shpeein yellow. Existing sever areas were highlighted in dark gray. <br /> Mr. Gregg referenced "Scenario IN'which allows each town to address their own fair share <br /> with Mashpee's flow being dined to lock Landing and New Seabury.
