Mashpee Board of Sewer Commissioners AGENDA <br /> Tuesday, August 30, 2011 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall 7:00 p.m. <br /> Call Meeting to Order: 7:00 p.m. —Conference Room 1 — Mashpee Town Hall <br /> Approval of minutes: July 19, 2011 <br /> Presentation of GHD proposals for next 2"scenarios". <br /> Lombardo Associates, SMaST, Commission, Community Advisory Committee, Public. <br /> Initial review and comment on GHD scenarios. <br /> Status of other GHD tasks <br /> - Regina Villa Associates public outreach work . <br /> - GHD hydrologic testing done at Transfer Station site— results. <br /> - MEPA Notice of Project Change (on hold until contract employee hired). <br /> - Status of work with USGS on solute transport modeling of Popponesset watershed. <br /> Need voucher signatures re: GHD invoice for$3062 <br /> Proposed supplemental GHD contract regarding additional work to provide required data to USGS for <br /> solute transport model. <br /> Intermunicipa/issues;County-funded inter-municipal MOU negotiations— any report from Mike Domenica. <br /> Fa/mouth issues. Any report from Jerry Potamis or others. <br /> Barnstable issues. Any report from Dale Saad, Ken Molloy or others. <br /> Sandwich issues. Any report from Dave Mason or others. <br /> Discussion items. <br /> - Status of Water/Sewer District. Document proposed by Town Counsel to Water District. We have not received copy. <br /> - Status of Tom O'Hara and Marcelli Commission vacancies and Ed Baker CAC vacancy from Precinct 2. <br /> - Sewer Commission Administrator hiring. Second member for interview process. <br /> New developments/existing development requiring WW treatment plants; <br /> - Mashpee Village— pursuing their own treatment plant and discharge permit although open to cooperation with <br /> adjacent properties. <br /> - Summerwood — no news. <br /> - Mashpee Woods 40B—foreclosed and owned by CC Coop Bank—Industrial subdivision is DRI at CCC with no <br /> proposed treatment plant. <br /> - Stratford Ponds —Completed treatment plant improvements to blowers etc. <br /> - Wampanoag Village 40B project by Wampanoag Tribe— 40K gpd (RBC) treatment plant under construction in <br /> advance of 40B approval due to federal funding conditions. Will be required to tie in neighboring properties to meet <br /> DEP"zero net nitrogen" rule, possibly including Town Hall area. DEP will only enforce"no net"after 9900 gpd <br /> exceeded. <br /> - Cotuit Meadows 40B (in Barnstable) —Construction done on WWTP, to tie in nursing home and possibly Shellback <br /> Place in Mashpee to meet DEP"zero net nitrogen"policy. <br /> - Potential new 40B/mixed use on Haney property between 151 and Old Barnstable Rd. Will need treatment plant.
