Board members agreed that the Articles <br /> are very important_ <br /> The Chair also inquired whether Selectman Richardson was familiar with the system of <br /> locking Town Hall doors at p,m. and noted that the doors need to open due-to <br /> Open Meeting Law requirements, and particularly as the public hearings begin for <br /> Mashpee Coni. ons. Selectman Richardson will follow up on the issue. <br /> Environmental Oversight Committee-No report at this time <br /> Design Revs ► Committee-No report at this time <br /> Community Preservation Committee-No meeting _ <br /> Historic District Commission-No meeting <br /> Old Business <br /> Comprehensive P1 n fur ey Update-Mr. Fudala reported that he has downloaded all of <br /> the planning zone level data from Survey Monkey. <br /> Discussion of Proposed Bylaw Amendments Regarding Signs-Selectman Richardson <br /> reported that Selectman Taylor had noted that several towns preferred use of the general bylaw <br /> and that he was leaning toward recommending that Mashpee pursue a genual bylaw. The Chair <br /> noted that the general bylaw does not allow for grandfathering, and that,the bylaw may be <br /> phased in, but expressed concern about the response from thi business community. Selectman <br /> Richardson will follow-up and report back to the Planning Board. <br /> Board Review of Comprehensive Plan Update Process and Schedule-The Chair <br /> reported that Torn Mayo would attend the next meeting to dismiss the enemy chapter. Mr. <br /> l~udala reported that Rill Newton has not yet hid his meeting with the Affordable Housing <br /> Committee. The Chair inquired whether Selwtffmn Richardson was aware of-the Affordable, <br /> Housing Committee's need to discuss the affirdable housing chapter in the Local <br /> Comprehensive Flan. Selectman Richardson indicated that it would be placed on the agenda. <br /> New Business <br /> None at this time <br /> CORRESPONDENCE <br /> -Planning Commissioners Journal, winter 201 1. has been provided to Board members in their <br /> packet. Chairman Waygan noted that the annual meeting would be held on March 19 at Moly <br /> Cross in Worcester. Region is$50 per person. Board members present were not interested <br /> in attending-the meeting but Nor. Fudala will provide copies to lir. Petersen and Mr. I ooharian <br /> in case they are interested in attending. <br />
