Mashpee Planning Board <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> June 8,2011 at 7 p.m. <br /> Meeting Room 2,Mashpee Town Hall <br /> CALL To ORDER <br /> The Town of Mashpee Planning Board meeting was opened with a quoruun in Meeting loom 2 at <br /> Mashpee Town Hall by Chairman W ygan at 6:36 p.m. on Wednesday, .Tune 8,2011. <br /> Planning Board Members Present: Cha roan Mary Wa gan, vice Chair Dennis Bal adni, David <br /> Koo .ars, George Petersen <br /> Absent: Clerk Joe Mullin <br /> Also Present: Torn Fudala-Town Planner <br /> APPROVAL of NENUTES a <br /> May l , 2011 <br /> There was no vote to approve the minutes. <br /> BOARD ITEMS <br /> Old Business <br /> - Comprehensive Pion-Chairman Waygan expressed her preference that the Board focus <br /> specifically on the Economic Development Element draft at tomoght's meeting. <br /> Economic Development Element Draft-Chairman waygan reported that she <br /> looked up SWOT Analysis online and found numerous resources describing the process and <br /> recommended that other Board members may consider doing the same if they were seeking <br /> more information about the process. In.particular,the Chair noted that many SNOT <br /> analyses also include questionnaires. The Chair and Mr. Fudala will send suggested <br /> wording changes to the draft's Next directly to Mr. Newton. <br /> Board members discussed the newly proposed goals, indicating that they were <br /> somewhat aligned with the original goals. There was discussion noting that the goals <br /> combined both an a onomie and tax base element. 'Changes were made to the goals and <br /> fifth goal was added. Comparisons were also made to the original objectives and changes <br /> and additions were made to the objectives. Board members also revi <br />
