Mashpee Public Schools' Volunteer Recognition Breakfast. Also, in her report, she <br /> noted volunteers are needed for new activity positions. Her goals are to meet with the <br /> front desk volunteers, establish a calendar to meet with each volunteer group, create a <br /> volunteer center in the library and pian activities for Intergenerational Month in <br /> September in partnership with the Mashpee Schools. <br /> Motion: Jean Noussee moved to accept the Volunteer and Program Support <br /> Coordinator's Report, seconded by Marijo Gorney. Vote 4-0 unanimous <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> UPDATE: Massachusetts Association of Councils on Aging/Executive Office of <br /> Elder Affairs <br /> The Director stated that the Massachusetts Association of Councils on Aging is in the <br /> process of creating a database of all of the Councils on Aging in the State. <br /> The Director distributed articles on: "Nursing Homes, Senior Centers Find Bullying has <br /> no Age Limit", "Efforts Continue to Improve Public Transportation for Cape Cod Seniors" <br /> and "What Do You Call a Senior Center Without `Senior'?" <br /> Jean Noussee announced she retired as President of the Thrift Shop after 12 years. <br /> The Director thanked her for a job well done. <br /> Motion: Virginia McIntyre moved to adjourn, seconded by Jean Noussee. Vote <br /> unanimous 4-0 Meeting adjourned 9:15 a.m. <br /> Respectfully Submitted, <br /> Judy Daigneault, Recording Secretary <br />
