volunteer meetings were held and the volunteer center has been established and is a <br /> work in progress. She listed volunteers needed for new activity/positions. The Director <br /> reviewed the goals of the Volunteer and Program Support Coordinator are to establish a <br /> calendar to meet with each volunteer group, focus on intergenerational opportunities, <br /> and research ways to showcase the Mashpee COA during the month of September <br /> which is National Senior Center Month. <br /> Motion: Virginia McIntyre moved to accept the Volunteer and Program Support <br /> Coordinator's Report, seconded by Jean Noussee. Vote 5-0 unanimous <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> The Director reviewed with the Council on Aging members Town Policy #045. <br /> Age Friendly Massachusetts <br /> The Director reviewed Age Friendly Massachusetts and also. Healthy Aging Cape Cod. <br /> This is to make Cape Cod Age Friendly. She reviewed the grant from Tufts Foundation <br /> to make Cape Cod an Age Friendly Region. She noted she is on the steering <br /> committee for this grant. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> UPDATE; Massachusetts Association of Councils on Aging/Executive Office of <br /> Elder Affairs <br /> The Director noted the annual conference for the Massachusetts Association of <br /> Councils on Aging will be held in October in Falmouth. <br /> Motion: Virginia McIntyre moved to adjourn, seconded by .lean Noussee.
