MASHPEE CABLE AND ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY ADVISORY BOARD (MCAT) <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> WAQUOIT MEETING ROOM <br /> AUGUST 14,2018 <br /> MASHPEE TOWN HALL <br /> Present: Andrew Eliason,Lolita McCray and Daniel Riley <br /> Absent: Morgan Peters <br /> Also Present: IT Director David DelVecchio and Ken Hannaford (applicant to sit on MCAT) <br /> 1. The Chair opened the meeting at 1:00 p.m. <br /> 2. Minutes: Approve Minutes of April 23,201.8 <br /> Motion: Lola McCray moved to approve the minutes of April 23,2018,with one minor change, <br /> seconded by Andy Eliason. Vote unanimous 2-1 with Mr. Riley abstaining <br /> 3. Comments from Town Manager's Office <br /> None <br /> The Chair stated Wayne Taylor sent him a copy of communications from the State regarding getting <br /> kicked off.on the re-licensing process. He said he will send all of the information to the members. <br /> 4. Discussion for Application for Membership <br /> Ken Hannaford was present and gave his background and expressed his interest in becoming a member <br /> of MCAT. The Chair welcomed him and stated he would have to check with the Town Clerk's Office <br /> and the Town Manager's Office to ensure that Mr. Hannaford doesn't have a conflict since he is <br /> employed by ComCast. <br /> Motion: Mr.Riley moved to approve the appointment of Mr. Hannaford to MCAT with the <br /> understanding he doesn't have a conflict after checking with the appropriate parties. Seconded by <br /> Lola McCray. Vote unanimous 3-0 <br /> 5. Mashpee Community Television updates, if any. <br /> None <br /> 6. David DelVecchio,IT Manager,Update <br /> David DelVecchio reported that everything is going well except he met with Bill Nay, General Manager, <br /> Mashpee TV, last week and he replaced the audio mixes and the broadcast mix box is new. The <br /> negative of that is the inability to broadcast that image from a PC over Channel 18 and 99. He budgeted <br /> for the audio but didn't budget for new projectors. He asked the committee members if they were <br /> willing to pay for those to replace them. He said he would get pricing for them and bring the info to the <br /> next meeting. It was noted Bill Nay is paid through Mashpee TV. Mr. Riley suggested if this is to be <br />
