12 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> December 17, 2018 <br /> NEW BUSYNESS <br /> Discussion and Execution of Quitclaim Deed for the Parcel of Land Located on Falmouth Road <br /> identified as 950 Falmouth Road, and further identified as Assessors' Parcel No. 93-7-0, containing <br /> 3.26 acres+1-: <br /> The Board of Selectmen reviewed the Quitclaim Deed granting the Mashpee Affordable Housing <br /> Trust title and interest to land located on Falmouth Road, identified as 950 Falmouth Road, and <br /> further identified as Assessors' Parcel No. 93-7-0, containing 3.26 acres <br /> Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to approve and execute the Quitclaim Deed for 950 <br /> Falmouth.Road, Mashpee as identified to the Mashpee Affordable Housing Trust. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Cahalane,yes Selectman Gottlieb,yes <br /> Selectman O'Hara, yes Selectman Cotton,yes Opposed, none <br /> The Affordable Housing Trust is scheduled to meet on Monday, January 7, 2019 to accept the <br /> parcel. <br /> Discussion and Aproval of Letter to the Barnstable Board of Health: Protection of Saltwater <br /> Estuaries, Section 360-45, Interim Regulations: <br /> Correspondence was received from Andrew Gottlieb dated December 13, 2018 recommending the <br /> Board submit a letter of opposition to the proposed amendment of Article XV of the Town of <br /> Barnstable Code: Protection of Saltwater Estuaries, Section 360-45, Interim Regulations. <br /> The proposed amendment would modify the existing interim regulation to limit its applicability to <br /> the Craigville Beach Zoning District and effectively remove nitrogen loading limitations. The net <br /> effect of this action would worsen existing conditions in Popponesset Bay, a regional resource <br /> shared by the Towns of Mashpee, Barnstable and Sandwich. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to approve the letter to the Barnstable Board of Health <br /> authorizing the Chairman of the Board of Selectmen to execute the tetter on behalf of the <br /> Board of Selectmen. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Cahalane,yes Selectman Gottlieb,yes <br /> Selectman O'Hara, yes Selectman Cotton,yes Opposed, none <br />
