t <br /> c <br /> Mike.repeatedly stressed that in reviewing the bylaws it is necessary to consider <br /> relevance to the Town as it is today and whether or not the bylaw offers value or not. <br /> Asexample, <br /> other Mike noted that under§174.3 7 no parking is allowed in the front of <br /> buildings in commercial and industrial zones. Mile said this is very restrictive and not <br /> 'cal in an industrial ark. Mike suggested add language `except in industrial zones, <br /> practical p <br /> parking shall be allowed in front,side and rear". <br /> Milero osed adding Mobile Food Bylaw. He said this is not covered in the current <br /> p p � <br /> bylaws so he's proposing adding it. <br /> As an ' <br /> an aside Mile said he just wanted to alert the Committee to the fact that the own <br /> Manager and Board of Selectmen have asked him to draft a bylaw covering seasonal <br /> signs and he is working on that now, Mile said he will keep this Committee informed as <br /> this progresses. <br /> Mie exp <br /> explained his proposal to add §174-17.1 ----Tear Down and Rebuild Bylaw. Mike <br /> now if a house gets torn down and they request to build a bigger house it <br /> said right <br /> doesn't meet current - <br /> ent tonin setback requirements. He said this proposed addition to the <br /> bylaw would give ZBA the authority to Permit rebuild but still meet ZBA current bylaws. <br /> Mile pointed out that under§174.25(2)mato repair is allowed in an industrial zone,but <br /> one cannot sell cars in an industrial zone. Mike said there are a number of bylaws that <br /> allow a use <br /> in commercial zone,but doesn't list the use ire industrial area and that should <br /> be reviewed. <br /> Meg Santosy <br /> said the bylaws were written a long time ago and there weren't industrial <br /> ones <br /> in existence back then as there are now. Mire said that's why they have to be <br /> iewed#rotes change. Mike suggested the Fable of Use Regulations should be <br /> rev g <br /> reviewed. <br /> Ed Larkin thanked Mike and Drew for their efforts. He said that this review and the <br /> g <br /> proposals they <br /> offered are most enlightening. Ed asked Mile and Drew if they would get <br /> together and put their proposals in writing that is,if they would put the bylaw proposals <br /> p -- <br /> ' <br /> in written format that could actually be submitted as the warrant and cone to the next <br /> Review meeting in for discussion on these proposed documents.
