MINUTES PERSONNEL BOARD iAPFF TOWN MALL November 1 , 1995 The following board members were present: Joe Del laal.a, Chairman, Ron Levine, Carole D nivan, Norma Kumin and Marilyn Farren, Personnel Administrator, Acceptance. of Minutes Ron L. moved t ..accept the minutes of November 2, 1995. Carole D. seconded the motion, All were in favor. Acce Lance of Public Safety. Dispatch Supervisgry Job Description Marilyn informed the board that the S. I, E, U. Union, Chief Przybylek, Bob Whritenour and Town Selectmen had approved the draft of the description as is. After a brief discussion the Board had the following questions for Chief Przybylek. 1. is this person to be hired in charge of all 3 shifts -and hoer will he/she get paid for this. 2. Will this person have to submit to a security clearance or background check under the hiring process. 3. When a conflict on other- shifts arises, to Whom does he respond to. Ron L. moved to accept the job description under the condition that the questions of the Board will b ,answered by Chief Przybylek. Norma K. seconded the motion. All were in favor. Sexual Harassment .Ro1 i Carole D. moved to accept the policy supplied by the Town of Waltham with changes made to reflect the Town of Mashpee. Ron Lft seconded the motion, All were in favor. MemoranduM to Selectmen The Board decided that Marilyn F. would send a memorandum to the Selectmen about sending out the Action Plan to departmental. managers. In this memorandum the board has requested that the plan be posted for all to read and that the managers sign for it with a copy of than returned to Marilyn F. entr l i e , „Record Keeling The Board decided to send a memorandum to the Selectmen recommending that the Centralized Record Keeling Policy be accepted as per attached, with the changes provided. They also are requesting written notification of approval from the Selectmen. then the plan is adopted by the Selectmen, Marilyn F. will distribute the Confidentiality Policy.
