It was noted that the I Braden Thompson Plume is presently located in the Town of Sandwich near Pimlico Pond Road,and lies within the area of Mashpee/Wakeby Pond. Sel ,a member of the Senior Management Board indicated that the above plume was an agenda topic at the last board meeting. Representatives from the EPA and DEP were present at the meeting held in late December. It appears the govermmnent is looking to tie this plume in with the FS-12 plume containment plan informed Selecunan Caffyn who strongly recommended the Board take action, and approve Mr. Fisher's assessment of the I Braden Thompson Plume on behalf of the Town. fir.Fisher submitted an estimate of$5,575 to assess the plume o discussion. The Board will consult the Town of Sandwich with regards to potential contributions for the evaluation and related scope of services as proposed since both towns are directly affected.. In addition,the Board requested the Executive Secretary schedule a meeting with Bill Fisher and representatives from the EPA and DEP to further address the issue of contamination and related clean-up process. r Corresp!2ndencgft.Qm1i h mmn r ' _vyelopnt 2=osal:, In response to the Board's memo of December 16, 1996 to Douglas Storrs, relative to the proposed expansion project of Mashpee Commons,the Selectmen's sub-committee consisting of Selectman Dini io, Selectman lar tern, and Tom Fudala, the Town Planner will review issues relative to the development proposal with members of 1 lashpee Commons,Ltd. on Wednesday, January 15, 1997 at 3;00 p.m.
