F r� <br /> Page <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> January 24, 1997 <br /> I • <br /> Town Hall Closure: <br /> Mr. whritenour requested the Board approve the closure of the <br /> Town Hall facility to the general public for the purpose of occupying <br /> the newly renovated building on Thursday,January 30, 1997 and <br /> Friday, January 31, 1997. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye to close the 'Town Hall <br /> on January 30, 1997 and January 31, 1997 as requested. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Dinizio. <br /> VOTF,: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> TUM*l urntur ndEuijipment Budget- <br /> The <br /> ud •The Executive Secretary was directed by the Board to obtain a <br /> comprehensive budget of office furnishings and equipment to service <br /> the Town Hall facility. <br /> It is the consensus of the Board to request a Reserve Fund Transfer <br /> from the Finance Committee M* the amount of$20,900 for the purpose <br /> of installing window treatments in the newly renovated facility. <br /> Discussion followed with regards to replacement furniture items. It i <br /> the consensus of the Board to purchase standard interchangeable office <br /> furnishings. Departments will be requested to consult the Executive <br /> Secretary prior to the purchase of any furniture items. <br /> Restoration oTown-Museum:--- <br /> Selectman Diniio requested input from the Board with regards to <br /> potential funding options for the restoration of the Town Museum. <br /> It is the consensus of the Board to contribute$50,000 to stabilize the <br /> structure; subject to Town Meeting approval, Grant funding if attained, <br /> will match the$50,000 contribution. <br /> ADJOURNMENT: <br /> Notion made by Selectman Dinizio to adjourn at 11:20 a.m. <br /> Notion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> VOTJL: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> V�O'Zg' r1k, )IQ <br /> Kathleen ilri.
