Page 2 Board of Selectmen Minutes March 27, 1997 Review of Special Town Meeting warrant: (continued) Article#11: To appropriate and transfer$190,000 from the Foundation Deserve Grant Account to the FY98 School Budget Account. It was noted that the Town received a$190,000 grant from the State for Foundation Aid earmarked for the School budget. The article is necessary to carry over these funds to the FY98 School budget. *Approved. Aummd-and.Executign of Smial Tsm M.=ting . Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve and execute the Special 'Down Meeting warrant as amended. Motion seconded by Selectman Dinizio. Unanimous. 4-0. Selectman Frye absent for vole. Town Election Site: Communication was received from.the Town Clerk dated March 27, 1997 requesting the Board rescind their previous action, and re-establish the Mashpee Middle School as the polling location for the Annual Flection. It was noted that the Town Hall wilding Committee requested the Board's consideration to re-establish the former polling location as the Annual Election site at this time. Motion ion made by Selectman Dinizio to rescind the Board's action of March 24, 1997, and re-establish the Mashpee Middle School as the polling location for the Annual Election. Motion seconded by Selectman 11rster . Unanimous. -0. Review of Annual Town l eetm* warrant: The Board reviewed Draft##5 of the Annual Town Meeting warrant slated March 27, 1997. Adgir,# - To transfer ownership of the Mashpee wanmanoag Indian Museum to the Mashpee wam ano g Tribal Council, Inc. Discussion followed with regards to the proposed transfer, and use of the museum if it were to be sold. It is the consensus of the Board to include Article#5 on the warrant and consult Town Counsel with respect to use; the museum shall not be sold for profit, and shall be intended for public use only.
