Page R R Board of Selectmen Minutes } April 7, 1997 LD_ USINESS: Amendment f Intmunigbal AQreementfor Sold Waste Di o • { Communication was received from Kopelrnan and Paige,P.C., Town Counsel dated March 19, 1997 recommending the Board approve draft Amendment No. 2 to the Intermunicipal Agreement among the Towns of Ilashpee, Sandwich, and Falmouth pursuant to which a solid waste rail transfer facility was constructed and is operated. The Amendment will modify the status of the'Town of Bourne, which is currently the "user," Under the Amendment, the Town of Bourne will x become a member town, and contribute the sura of$292,272.00 which shall be deemed its share of the original capital costs of the facility. It was noted that the above sura will be paid in two installments. Motion made by Selectman I ini io to approve draft R Amendment No. 2 to the Intermunicipal Agreement for Solid Waste Disposal as recommended, F lotion seconded by Selectman Frye. VOTE: Unanimous. -o, Selectman Caffyn absent. NEW BUSINESS: ESS: Reljfor One Day Liquor License: Correspondence was received from the Kiwan*s Club of Mshpee dated March 2 , 1997 requesting the Board approve a One Day Liquor License to sell beer and wine during the "Sumer Solstice Concert" to be held on June 20, 1997 in the area of the Special Events Tent located at the 1lhpee Commons. Notion made by Selectman Dini io to approve the one Day Liquor License request of the I iwanis Club on June 20, 1997 as stipulated for beer and wine only. Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. VOTE: Unanimous. -o. Selectman Caffyn absent. Wig_ Order-#2-Pumper Rehab: Inion made by Selectman Frye to approve Change order #2 in the amount of $30'7.50 to the Department of Fire Rescue for the Pumper Rehab as requested. Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. Selectman Caffyn absent.
