Page <br /> R <br /> R <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br />} April 7, 1997 <br /> LD_ USINESS: <br /> Amendment f Intmunigbal AQreementfor Sold Waste Di o • <br />{ Communication was received from Kopelrnan and Paige,P.C., Town <br /> Counsel dated March 19, 1997 recommending the Board approve draft <br /> Amendment No. 2 to the Intermunicipal Agreement among the Towns of <br /> Ilashpee, Sandwich, and Falmouth pursuant to which a solid waste rail <br /> transfer facility was constructed and is operated. <br /> The Amendment will modify the status of the'Town of Bourne, which is <br /> currently the "user," Under the Amendment, the Town of Bourne will <br /> x become a member town, and contribute the sura of$292,272.00 which <br /> shall be deemed its share of the original capital costs of the facility. It was <br /> noted that the above sura will be paid in two installments. <br /> Motion made by Selectman I ini io to approve draft <br /> R <br /> Amendment No. 2 to the Intermunicipal Agreement for Solid <br /> Waste Disposal as recommended, <br /> F lotion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -o, <br /> Selectman Caffyn absent. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> ESS: <br /> Reljfor One Day Liquor License: <br /> Correspondence was received from the Kiwan*s Club of Mshpee dated <br /> March 2 , 1997 requesting the Board approve a One Day Liquor License <br /> to sell beer and wine during the "Sumer Solstice Concert" to be held <br /> on June 20, 1997 in the area of the Special Events Tent located at the <br /> 1lhpee Commons. <br /> Notion made by Selectman Dini io to approve the one Day <br /> Liquor License request of the I iwanis Club on June 20, 1997 <br /> as stipulated for beer and wine only. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -o. <br /> Selectman Caffyn absent. <br /> Wig_ Order-#2-Pumper Rehab: <br /> Inion made by Selectman Frye to approve Change order <br /> #2 in the amount of $30'7.50 to the Department of Fire <br /> Rescue for the Pumper Rehab as requested. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman Caffyn absent. <br />
