APPROVAL of MINUTES Gregg Fraser actioned to approve the Public session minutes of April 26, 2017 as presented. Paul Andrews seconded the motion. VOTE: Y'es- Roll Call Vote: Paul Andrews, yes; Gregg Fraser, yes NEW BUSINESS Director streebel presented a departmental update lie: Triennial Fie-certification state Owned Land & Assistant Assessor-position status. Mr. streebel updated the Board with regards to the Triennial Certification. The assessed values have been given Preliminary Certification and the next step is to hold Public Disclosure. Public Disclosure will last for fire days and will consist of mailing more than 3,600 post cards to out of town homeowners, and advertisements on the torn web site and in the Mashpee Enterprise. The office will answer questions and review comments from property owners regarding their neer assessments. After the Public Disclosure period New Growth will be submitted for approval and Final Certification is expected. The Director updated the Board regarding State Owned Land and informed the Board that Mashpee's appeal of the Commissioner of Revenue's Values had been timely filed. The Director also updated the Board as to the status of the Assistant Assessor position. The Administration has approved the change from having a Data collector to having an Assistant Assessor. The position will be advertised in-house for five days and interviews will tale place shortly thereafter. Deal Estate Supplemental Tax Abatement Application: Joan Alle rini — 146 Wate a Director streebel recommended that the Board deny the abatement application.
