Conservation Commission <br /> Minutes of.sprit 1 ,2017 <br /> Public Hearings <br /> Mashpee Town Hall <br /> Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Commissioners Present: Brad Sweet, Robert Anderson, Dale McKay, Bud Shaw, <br /> Steve Cook (Associate Member) <br /> Staff Present*. Drew McManus (Conservation Agent) and Judy Dai neault (Recording <br /> Secretary <br /> CALL MEETING To ORDER: :55 p.m. <br /> The meeting was called to order with a quorum by Chairman Brad Sweet at <br /> 5:55 P,m. <br /> There was no public comment <br /> PREIPOST HEARING AGENDA <br /> MINUTES: Approve February 23, and March 9, 2017 Minutes, <br /> Motion: Mr. McKay moved to approve the February 23, 2017 minutes, seconded <br /> by Mr, Anderson. vote 4-0 unanimous <br /> Motion: Mr. McKay moved to approve the March 9, 2017 minutes, seconded by Mr. <br /> Anderson. Vote 3-0-1 with Mr. Shaw abstaining <br /> REVIEW lQuestions,. comments feedbaok : Order of Conditions revised templates <br /> (general, docks, piers, beach nourishment, vista pruning). <br /> The Agent noted in theCommissioners' packet was the order of Conditions revised <br /> templates. He suggested the Commissioners review these templates and if they have <br /> any suggestions, changes to let him know. <br /> UPDATE: Sea Run Brook Trout Coalition -- habitat restoration of Santuit River north of <br /> Sampson's Mill Road has been completed. Woody structure added to the River to <br /> provide pool/riffle habitat and scour array fine sediments to reveal sandy/gravel <br /> substrate. <br /> The Agent gave an update on the Sea Run Brook Trout Coalition. He noted the habitat <br /> restoration of antuit'River north ofSampson's Mill Road has been completed. Woody <br /> structure was put back in the River to provide habitat. Steve Hurley, Mass Fish and <br /> Wildlife will be introducing 15 to 20 specimens into the Santult River from the Mashpee <br /> River. <br />
