VOLUNTEER CO DI 1 OR REPORT <br /> No Report <br /> ACTIVITY COORDINATOR REPO T <br /> The Director distributed the Activity Coordinator report for the month of July. The fall <br /> ongoing programs are ready to go and several new programs shall begin in September. <br /> Her goals are to get to know as marry seniors as possible and to. develop new programs <br /> and keep the programs that are in place,, <br /> Motion: Jean Noussee moved to accept the Activity Coordinator Report, seconded <br /> by tinny McIntyre. vote 5-0 <br /> Old Business <br /> The Director reviewed the town process of Council on Aging Board vacancies, Wayne <br /> Taylor stated the town consolidates the vacancies and advertises them a couple of tunes a <br /> year•. He said once 'someone is interested, the committee sends a recommendation to the <br /> Board of Selectmen and the Board then appoints that person. <br /> New Business <br /> The Director, reviewed the town's policy#6. <br /> p <br /> I date--Massachusetts Association of Councils on Aging/Executive Office of Elder <br /> Affairs <br /> The Director gave a brief update on the Massachusetts Council on Aging; <br /> The Chair made suggestions regarding possible future programs. <br /> Motion; Irving Goldberg moved to adjourn, seconded by Jean Noussee. vote <br /> unanimous. 5.0 <br /> Meeting adjourned 9;25 a.m* <br /> Respectfully Submitted, <br /> Judy Daigneault, Recording Secretary <br /> M1 <br />
