F <br /> Page 9 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> July 21, 1997 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> App-ointment of Temporary Sticker Personnel: <br /> Correspondence was received from Jane Labute, Town Clerk dated <br /> July 15, 1997 requesting the Board approve the re-hiring of Mae Cushing <br /> to her department for the next five weeks to cover the sticker office. <br /> Funds presently exist in the temporary wage account. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye to appoint Mae Gushing <br /> to the Town Clerk's Office as requested. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> TE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Request,for Five Day Liquor License: <br /> The Educated Palate Caterers submitted correspondence to the Board <br /> dated July 15, 1997 requesting permission to secure an all alcoholic <br /> beverages license for the period of August 13, 1997 through August 17, <br /> 1937 for the Nuveen Tournament of Champions held at the Willowbend <br /> Golf Club. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to approve the request of <br /> the Educated Palate Caterers for a (5) day liquor license <br /> as specified. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> TE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> MMR ISSUES <br /> Senior Management Meeting on Tuesday, July 22, 1997 to review <br /> the components of the clean-up process. A ribbon cutting ceremony <br /> will be held for the opening of a joint office program informed Selectman <br /> Caffyn. <br /> ADJOURNMENT: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Dinizio to adjourn at 5:42 p.m. <br /> The Board will enter into Executive Session for the purpose <br /> of discussing collective bargaining issues.
