Page 6 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September 8, 1997 <br /> CQhIt2JMCATI0NS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> School Committee FY99 Budgt&Vv gw: <br /> Selectman Marsters,liaison to the School Committee announced the <br /> following monthly school budget workshops; <br /> September 17, 1997 <br /> October 15, 1997 <br /> November 18, 1997 <br /> December 16, 1997 <br /> At this time,the School Committee has reviewed draft#1 of the <br /> proposed FY99 budget informed Selectmen Marsters who noted that <br /> the preliminary budget reflects a projected increase of two million dollars. <br /> The School Committee is open and receptive to the input of the <br /> Board of Selectmen and Finance Committee indicated Selectman Marsters. <br /> Mr.whritenour was requested by the Board to draft additional <br /> estimated budget scenario's for consideration after the October Town <br /> Meeting. <br /> SMRSOW Mill Road M nitorin <br /> Selectman Marsters made note of a recent memo from Michael Powers, <br /> an Au at engineer, dated August 21, 1997 to Mr. Mark wood of the <br /> g � g . <br /> Department of Environmental Protection. Mr. Powers has proposed to <br /> decrease water quality monitoring at the Tufts residence from a monthly <br /> testing basis to quarterly testing procedures. <br /> Mr.whritenour was directed by the Board to consult Mr. Tufts with <br /> to this matter. It was suggested respect d that monitoring be conducted on <br /> p <br /> a monthly basis until the home is in active receipt of Town water. <br />
