Cornier,Jr. was present to request the Board approve <br /> the license application of Cormier's 151 Shell to schedule a two day <br /> event for the benefit of the Junior Achievement Charity. <br /> If approved by the Board,the event is scheduled to be held at the <br /> 151 Shell gas station on September 10th and 11th, 1997. Popcorn and <br /> hotdogs will be served. A disc jockey will be present. (enclosed) <br /> The memo of August 28, 1997 will be retained in Chief Baker's <br /> personnel file. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> A fCardiMnitorinF4UipmentBi • <br /> Chief Baker recommended the Board approve the sole bid as received <br /> from Physio-Control Corporation of Redmond,Washington for cardiac <br /> monitoring equipment. The bid is within budget,and meets all <br /> requirement specifications. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye to approve and award the <br /> Cardiac Monitoring Equipment bid to Physio-Control <br /> Corporation in the amount of $29,978.50 as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Caffyn. <br /> VQ Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
