Town Counsel is expected to respond to the Water District <br /> . P P <br /> with respect to thus regard. <br /> Self H&lp Pr r • <br /> R With regards to the open Space Conservation/Recreation Plan Selectman <br /> Caffyn brought up the issue of Tom Fudala being asked to respond to the <br /> Self H <br /> - 1 P <br /> Help Program Chant by Selectman George Costa. <br /> It was noted that the Conservation/Recreation Plan must be updated before <br /> the Town can apply for funding. An open Space plan was prepared <br /> by an outside consulting firm in 1983. The previous extension expired <br /> in 1989, P <br /> w Mr.Fudala,the Town Planner addressed this concern with the Board of <br /> Selectmen at the end of the Regular Meeting. Mr.Fudala indicated that the <br /> application process will take approximately two months to complete. The <br /> application deadline in June 1, 1996. <br /> Selectman Caffyn noted that the Town is expected to match grant funds <br /> if funding is attained. Any expenditure must be approved by the voters <br /> at Town Meeting.
