Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> April 22, 1996 <br /> APPQINTMENTS AND BEARIN • <br /> EiM.Qief-Ambulance Billing.1, <br /> Fire Chief George Baker was present to recommend the Board approve <br /> his recommended management process for Ambulance Billing. (enclosed) <br /> Mr.Whritenour indicated that he concurs with the Fire Chief s <br /> recommendation as set forth in his memo of March 5. 1996. In addition., <br /> Mr.Whritenour recommended the Board adopt items#1 through##5 as <br /> presented, and further review item#6 as proposed. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Costa to approve the Ambulance <br /> Billing as recommended; Items #1 - #5. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Caffyn. <br /> VOTT: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Mr.Whritenour will also review potential mechanisms to cap the <br /> ambulance contribution rate with the Fire Chief. <br /> Fire Chief-Ambulance Bill Ab at ment : <br /> Communication was received from Fire Chief George Baker requesting <br /> the Board approve the request for ambulance bill abatements as presented <br /> PP <br /> in his memo of March 25, 1996 to Mr.Whritenour. (enclosed) <br /> Motion made b Selectman Dinizio to approve the abatement <br /> requests as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Mills. <br /> VJIT-E: Unanimous. S-o. <br /> PMLIC DISCUSSIQN' <br /> Pe Harsch invited members of the Board of Selectmen to attend <br /> Peg <br /> a Mashpee Taxpayers Association Meeting to discuss the Town Meeting <br /> Warrant articles. <br /> Mr.Whritenour will attend the above on behalf of the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Mrs.Harsch noted that the Finance Committee changed their opinion <br /> on a Town Meeting Warrant article. Selectman Vaccaro indicated that the <br /> ri r to the eting'Warrant, <br /> change was made pa p ost1n of the Annual Town Meg <br /> and the advertisement was corrected in proper fashion. <br /> In other business Mrs. Wall of Ninigret Avenue recommended the Board <br /> n ider closing portion <br /> cos g a of the road as a result of increased traffic and <br /> erosion problems. It was noted that the private road isovergrown, and <br /> does not contain an asphalt base. <br />
