Page 5 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes-revised <br /> April 29, 1995 <br /> EMLIC DISCUSSION: <br /> In other business,Robert Nelson of Seabrook Village indicated that <br /> refuse is being dumped in the water located off Redbrook load. <br /> In addition,the Flea Market is in disarray with the amount of refuse <br /> on Donna's Lane. Mr. Nelson suggested the Board announce to the <br /> public that it is against the law to dispose of refuse in this manner. <br /> With regards to the above, Selectman Vaccaro recommended to contact <br /> the Board of Health. It was noted that the Board of Health has the <br /> authority to track down the culprits on behalf of the Town of Mashpee. <br /> Richard Woolf was resent on behalf of the Popponesset General Store <br /> . P . <br /> to discuss last weeks article that appeared in the Mashpee Enterprise. <br /> It was noted that the convenience store,located to miles from the rotary <br /> is dependent upon friends and neighbors for their livelihood. <br /> P g <br /> The Po onesset Beach Association is the voice of many of our customers <br /> PP <br /> stated Mr.Woolf. He noted that Mrs.Landry stated that the majority of <br /> the board of directors objected to the change of license. It was noted that <br /> Mrs.Landry is not a board member, and the meeting never took place. The <br /> majority of the board never cast a vote stated Mr.Woolf. <br /> OIDBUSWESS: <br /> Bovs &Girls Club Site--Con=t: <br /> Tom Fudala the Town Planner was resent to discuss the potential site <br /> To P <br /> layout of the future Boys &Girls Club of Cape Cod,Inc. with members of <br /> the Board of Selectmen and interested public. <br /> It was noted that an article will appear on the Annual Town Meeting warrant <br /> proposing to sell or lease a parcel of land for this purpose. <br /> P g <br /> to locate the parcel on the site between the "ropes" <br /> Mr.Fudala proposed p . <br /> course, lice station and Coombs School. The location will be directly <br /> � . 1 <br /> accessible to school recreation facilities as well as the schools themselves. <br /> It was noted that the building facility is encompass approximately 18,000 <br /> It would require about 7� arkin space.
