The following <br /> amendment was made to the first paragraph, second sentence; <br /> Deleted: that discussions with the news media be coordinated so as <br /> Second sentence to read: It is the Policy of the Board of Selectmen <br /> to ensure the open and free access to the media of all Town affairs, as <br /> well as the presentation of information regarding Town government in an <br /> open and fair manner. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye to approve the Draft Media <br /> Relations Policy as amended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VQTE. Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> QLD BUSINESS: <br /> Environmental Consultant Pro asal: <br /> Woodard&Curran,Environmental Services submitted a proposal to <br /> . . . P P <br /> the Board representing additional services for the period; July 1, 1996 <br /> through December 31, 1995. <br /> It was noted that Woodard& Curran was employed b the Town to <br /> Y <br /> provide consulting services for the evaluation of the MMR Remediation <br /> Project. <br /> As noted,the budget for the project is not-to-exceed 10,000 for <br /> assignments related to the project scope. <br /> Discussion followed with respect to special rotating budget et P rovisions <br /> for this purpose, and to protect the Towns natural resources. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to approve the proposal <br /> - as received from Woodard & Curran for a sum not to exceed; <br /> $10,000 subject to the Finance Committee's approval for <br /> s funding. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
