Page 1 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> August 1,1996 <br /> Present: Selectman Dinizio, Selectman Frye, Selectman Caffyn, Selectman Marsters <br /> Assistant to the Executive Secretary Joyce Mason <br /> Absent: Selectman Costa <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Dinizio at 4:00 p.m. <br /> Carol Jacobson Senior Center <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> High Sghool Furniture and Equipment Bids f r Acceptce <br /> The High School Building Committee reviewed the proposals received <br /> in response to the RFP's for various items of furniture and equipment. <br /> The following furniture and equipment items were approved by the <br /> High School Building Committee: <br /> 1. Sect. 107: Paxton Patterson technology education: $152,285.00 <br /> 2. Sect. 108: Nautilus gym/fitness equipment: $ 54,439.50 <br /> 3. Sect. 110: Custodial and grounds equipment (in part) $ 81,103.87 <br /> 4. Sect. 115: Music equipment: $ 58,586.35 <br /> 5. Sect. 116: Art equipment: $ 9,532.75 <br /> 6. Sect. 120: Kitchen small wares: $ 28,567.98 <br /> total: $384,515.45 <br /> It was noted that the above items are part of the High School budget, and <br /> are overall lower than the projected estimates. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve and enter into <br /> contract negotiations with the vendors for the above furniture <br /> and equipment items for the new Mashpee High School. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />
