Minutes of Meeting of Mashpee Design Review Committee Tuesday, September 5, 2017 Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room Committee Members Present: Joseph Cummings, Jonathan Furbush, Michael Mendoza, Miles Peters, and Joshua Spencer. Michael Mendoza called the meeting to order at 8:31 a.m. and stated the meeting would start with Naukabout Brewery since Shell applicant is awaiting arrival of another member. Project Address: 13 Lake Avenue Business name: Naukabout Brewery Owner/Agent: ConSery Group, Inc. Representative: Pieter Van Slyck Request: Modification to their Special Permit Peter Murner appeared and said they are looking to update their already approved project Plans. • Looking to change siding to natural cedar shingles to make it more traditional Cape Cod look. • Changing trim to white from the red. • Changed some window sizes, as well as the doors. • Changing direction of the rear stairway so now it will go parallel to the building. • Left elevation at backhand side---added a door, rather than the window for staff access instead of using the roll-up door as staff accessway. • Added trim detail below the windows and trim detail at top of the bar door. • Changed cupola to make it a little bit smaller. He said they think it is more in keeping with the neighborhood. Peter Murner said they chose white trim because it is more contemporary. Miles Peters asked if they will paint the trim white and that it won't just be the plastic white. Peter Murner responded that everything will be painted white. He said the AZAC close to the ground will also be painted white as well. Miles asked if they would paint the PVC boards at the bottom. Peter Murner said they would do so. Peter Murner said they are meeting with the Historic Commission again on Monday for final approval but they wee fine with the white trim and the cedar shingles.
