Minutes of Meeting of <br /> Mashpee Design Review Committee <br /> Tuesday, September 5, 2017 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Committee Members Present: Joseph Cummings, Jonathan Furbush, Michael <br /> Mendoza, Miles Peters, and Joshua Spencer. <br /> Michael Mendoza called the meeting to order at 8:31 a.m. and stated the meeting <br /> would start with Naukabout Brewery since Shell applicant is awaiting arrival of <br /> another member. <br /> Project Address: 13 Lake Avenue <br /> Business name: Naukabout Brewery <br /> Owner/Agent: ConSery Group, Inc. <br /> Representative: Pieter Van Slyck <br /> Request: Modification to their Special Permit <br /> Peter Murner appeared and said they are looking to update their already <br /> approved project Plans. <br /> • Looking to change siding to natural cedar shingles to make it more <br /> traditional Cape Cod look. <br /> • Changing trim to white from the red. <br /> • Changed some window sizes, as well as the doors. <br /> • Changing direction of the rear stairway so now it will go parallel to the <br /> building. <br /> • Left elevation at backhand side---added a door, rather than the window for <br /> staff access instead of using the roll-up door as staff accessway. <br /> • Added trim detail below the windows and trim detail at top of the bar <br /> door. <br /> • Changed cupola to make it a little bit smaller. He said they think it is more <br /> in keeping with the neighborhood. <br /> Peter Murner said they chose white trim because it is more contemporary. Miles <br /> Peters asked if they will paint the trim white and that it won't just be the plastic <br /> white. Peter Murner responded that everything will be painted white. He said the <br /> AZAC close to the ground will also be painted white as well. Miles asked if they <br /> would paint the PVC boards at the bottom. Peter Murner said they would do so. <br /> Peter Murner said they are meeting with the Historic Commission again on <br /> Monday for final approval but they wee fine with the white trim and the cedar <br /> shingles. <br />
