own of Mashpee <br /> I. kill <br /> 1 6 Great Neck Road North <br /> ��... . ....{ Mash e a Massachusetts 0 649 <br /> BOARD of HEALTH PUBLIC SESSION <br /> Minutes of the Meeting of March 16, 201 <br /> Board Members Present: Also Present: <br /> alliope Egloff, Chair Glen Harrington, Health Agent <br /> Brian Baumgaertel, clerk <br /> Chair Kalliope Egloff called the meeting to order at 7:04 PM. <br /> APPOINTMENTS <br /> 7:15 PSI Informal Meeting: Request for Tight Tank— 20 Fled Brook Road (New Seabury). <br /> Joe colasuonno, representing New Beabury Properties, introduced himself to the Board. <br /> Mr, Colasuonno commented that New Seabury is seeking to build a better shed than the present one <br /> consisting of a storage area, 2 restrooms, some vending machines, and an office. The storage area and office <br /> will have a rough finish, and the restrooms will be handicap accessible with water saving facilities. The area <br /> where the shed is proposed is a highly sensitive Conservation restricted area. Pesticides and fertilizers cannot <br /> be used in this area. An environmental monitor checks the area for the presence of nitrogen on a weekly basis <br /> and submits the report to New Seabury. A septic system cannot be installed in this area; therefore, lir. <br /> olasuonno is requesting a tight tank. The golf range is open five months of the year, and he proposes to <br /> pump the tight tank on a monthly basis. Mr. colasuon no will obtain a letter from the environmental monitor <br /> confirming that no nitrogen is present in the conservation restricted area. <br /> 7:20 PM Sanitary code violation —70 Cape Drive, Building 4, Unit B. <br /> Glen Harrington remarked that this meeting was continued from the March 2, 2017, Board of Health meeting <br /> pending an inspection by the Health Agent at 70 cape [give, Building 4, Unit B. The inspection was performed <br /> on March 6, 2017, and all violations were documented as corrected. <br /> Gregg Locke, owner of 70 cape Drive, Building 4, Unit B, introduced himself to the Board. <br /> Mr. Locke commented that the work commenced the day veronica Warden performed her inspection. Mr. <br /> Locke needed a building permit to replace the windows which was completed within two weeks, around <br /> November g, 2016. The new tenant moved in on November 1, 2016, and was fully aware of the new window <br /> installation. <br /> Brian Baumgaertel made a motion that the Board of Health dismiss the sanitary code violations for 70 cape <br /> [give} Building 4} Unit B, and move to rescind the fines associated with it. l alliope Egloff seconded the motion. <br /> The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> 7:25 BIT ^Septic variance for Failed system —3 Kim Path. <br /> Stephen Doyle, BLS, representing 3 Kim Path, introduced himself to the Board. <br /> Glen Harrington stated that this design is for a failed septic system located at 3 Kim Path. The design is similar <br /> to the one approved for 2 Kim Bath across the street. The system includes a HOOT System which will provide <br /> additional treatment, an Ultra Violet Light for added disinfection, and pressure distribution for confirmed <br />
