HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE--PUBLIC SESSION <br /> FEBRUARY 16, 2017 —2:00 P.Md <br /> MA HPEE Towle HALL--o KWAV MEETING ROOM <br /> Committee Members Present: Also Present, <br /> Lynne Waterman Gail Wilson, Human Services Director <br /> Veronica Warden <br /> Frank Fantasia <br /> Absent:' John Cahalane, Mary Bradbury <br /> CALL To ORDER <br /> Acting Chairman. Lynne Waterman called the meeting to order at 2,08 p.m. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS —None <br /> Review of Minutes from January 19, 2017 <br /> Motion: Frank Fantasia moved to approve the January 19, 2017 minutes, seconded <br /> by Veronica warden. Vote unanimous 4-0 <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Thanks for Giving Awards <br /> The Director reminded the members that at the last meeting they voted that the Parents <br /> Supporting Parents receive the Group,award. She asked if anyone had suggestions for an <br /> individual to receive this award,. There were several suggestions and the Director would <br /> email them to the members and ask then to think about this before the March meeting <br /> The Director's Deport <br /> Director Gail Wilson reported CORD representatives were unable to attend today's <br /> meeting. She referred to their flyer"Register for ORD's Mobile Food Pantry"which <br /> outlined their program to begin in March mainly for lower Cape towns. She said she sent <br /> the committee's proposal and interest in working with them and will invite them to.a <br /> future meetingf <br /> She reported the Substance Use Task Force' has beer'very busy, Ebony Steele has now <br /> joined. She highlighted she did a radio show and it-is available to listen to online. The <br /> second taping of our Speaker Series was filmed. The theme is "A Parent's Voice" <br />
