s <br /> 4' <br /> Food Drive at Town Meeting <br /> The Director stated she is preparing an article for the newspaper and will also be <br /> preparing a flyer advertising the food drive at town meeting. She noted Town Meeting is <br /> May 1, 2017. <br /> The Director's Report <br /> Director Gail Wilson reported the Task Force is worldng towards our feast drop in night <br /> to be held June 6 at the Community Health Center. This will provide substance use <br /> information, education and treatment resource options. To advertise this we have a flyer, <br /> preparing cards and will be doing a Reverse 911 call with the permission from the town <br /> manager. The marketing piece is to reach everyone and it is important for everyone to be <br /> on board. She noted there will also be child care available at the drop-in center and there <br /> is now a direct line into her office for people who have questions. The goal is to <br /> eventually collaborate with the surrounding towns <br /> The Director stated a lot of work has been, done on the Drug Tale-Back Day to be held <br /> on Saturday, April 29 including preparing Ayers which will be posted and available to the <br /> public. <br /> The Director stated she didn't want to lase sight of the work the Committee has done on <br /> the Homebound Harvest Proposal and has never heard back from CORD. It was agreed <br /> to invite CORD into one of their meetings. <br /> The Director noted at their meeting in May, Cathy Gibson, from the Department of <br /> Transitional Assistance will be attending. <br /> Mary f1radbury stated the Kiwanis Club will be raising money on May 8 at their golf <br /> tournament at the Ridge Club in Sandwich.
