The itchy rash is caused by a parasite passed in duck feces. feeding ducks <br /> inappropriate food encourages them to stay in the area and increases the problem. <br /> Conclusions-. Although lake water samples tested negative for bacteria., cases of swimmer's itch were <br /> .reported. <br /> 1 <br /> - i h <br /> t <br /> : t� ta . <br /> Discussion: Boating activity on the take has remained fairly quiet this year, Don mentioned that the <br /> elosing of the Lovell Molly beach has discouraged the boaters. Personal watercraft continues to be the <br /> biggest problem, and they frequently stay out past the 7 PM deadline, Barbara also noticed a PWC towing <br /> a tube with two riders and no observer on July 23 r , <br /> report was requested of the Harbormaster, but not received prior to the meeting. Doxy reported from the <br /> Waterways committee meeting that the harbormaster was checking P W s more closely at the boat ramp <br /> for registration and safety equipment and not allowing then- to enter the lake if failing the inspection.
