Toni Fudala-Town Planner- Charles Rowley-Consulting Engineer <br /> Absent: Chairman Mary Waygan <br /> CALL To ORDER <br /> The Town of Mashpee Planning Board meeting was opened with a quorum in the Wauoit Meeting <br /> Room at Mashpee Town Hall by David Rooharian, at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2017. The <br /> Pledge of Allegiance was recited, <br /> APPROVAL F MINUTES—April 5, 2017 <br /> MOTION: Mr.Balza rini made a motion to accept the minutes as written. Mr, Cummings <br /> seconded the motion. ,All voted unanimously. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> T*P10 Applicant: IPF Mashpee, LL <br /> Location: SouthCape Village, Building B,Assessors' Map 81,Bloc. <br /> Request: Approval of Special Permit Modification to tear dower and replace <br /> Building B with a larger single-store building, redesign Joy Street and add parking <br /> lot between South Street and Route 28 <br /> The public hearing notice was read for the record. Attorney Liza Cox introduced attendees <br /> representing the project proponent. Ms. Cox noted that since the last meeting on Murch 15, the project <br /> proponent had filed with the Cape Cod Commission for a modification to their Development of <br /> Regional Impact, As a result of deliberation of the project, some changes had been incorporated into <br /> thep lans. The Cape Cod omission will be drafting a favorable decision on behalf of the project. <br /> Mathew Eddy, Baxter Nye Engineering, was present to discuss changes made to the plans which had <br /> been provided to members of the Board. A. request from the Board regarding the raised crosswalk at <br /> South Street had been resolved and pulled back to be even with the side of the leading dock. The <br /> existing speed bump at the entrance of Donna's Lane would be assessed and it was hoped that the <br /> pavers could be ground down during the construction process. The turning template plan had been <br /> submitted to show the truck turning movement with a slight adjustment pulling back the curb, Minor <br /> revisions were made to the landscaping plan, relocating the proposed arborvitae closer to Route 28 to, <br /> helpscreen the Griew of the parking area. Mr. Eddy confirmed that the drainage calculations requested <br /> p g <br /> by Mr. Rowley had been. submitted. Finally, a bike rack was added to a seating area at the request of <br /> the Cape Cod Commission. A tree was relocated and centered. <br /> Mr. B alzarini inquired whether trucks would be delivering on a specific schedule as fir. B alzarini had <br /> already been contacted by residents with concerns accessing Dunkin Donuts and the potential for <br /> traffic jams. Daren Johnson responded that Home roods was unable to present a delivery schedule at <br /> this time. <br /> 1 <br />
