Walker <br /> Steven F. Buss <br /> Theodore M.Peregrim <br /> Thomas G. Walker, a resident of the Town of Mashpee was present <br /> to discuss his qualifications position P e t <br /> q ations for the position of Network Administrator <br /> with the Board of Selectmen and interestedP ublic. <br /> Mr.Walker indicated that he has extensive experience inconsulting, <br /> supporting and training users in hardware and software evaluation <br /> configuration and systems equipment repair. ' <br /> Mr.Walker,a self employed computer consultant since 1991ave the <br /> Board an update of his 1991g <br /> ave <br /> s past experience and current computer exposure.year he graduated from Boston University and completed the <br /> Novell <br /> CNE Program. He is currently a Certified Network Administrator. <br /> To increase the overall efficiency of the Town,Mr. Walker suggested <br /> gg ed <br /> to implement the e-mail system for all Town departments for accessibility. <br /> In addition,Mr.Walker indicated that h Y <br /> e has experience in the instructional <br /> aspect of computer support, and is able to actively participate in the network <br /> service installation upon completion of the Town Hall renovation project. <br /> When asked of his home business, Mr. Walker indicated that he does <br /> most of his work through "word of mouth." Selectman CaffY n indicated <br /> that she made an attempt to check Mr.Walker's references, but was unable <br /> to make contact. Selectman Caffyn also noted that Mr. Walker's <br /> number was not listed telephone <br /> i n the local telephone book as an established business <br /> or as a local area resident. <br /> Mr.Walker could not clarify the above. He stated that his telephone <br /> P <br /> number should be listed. <br /> Steven F. Buss of Yarmouthport was scheduled to be interviewed, but <br /> withdrew his application. <br />
