5 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes-revised <br /> August 28, 1996 <br /> Review Qf ftq1ktQber Town Meetine • <br /> Article#8: Personnel Administrator upgrade from Grade 12 to Grade 15 <br /> $2,228.00 <br /> s <br /> Carole Dunivan, Chairman of the Personnel Board was present to discuss <br /> the position upgrade with the Board of Selectmen. <br /> It was noted that the Personnel Administrator is currently at the um <br /> ' r <br /> step, and is not a part of the new union for reasons of confidentiality. , <br /> MIs.Dunivan indicated that the description of the position is one on one <br /> with that of a Human Resource Director. <br /> Selectman Dinizio indicated that he support the position upgrade,and <br /> suggested the Board consider a separate contract to define the position. <br /> .s <br /> Mr.Golub stated that the Finance Committee does not support the article, <br /> but recommends further study to define the position, and perhaps a <br /> contract as suggested. <br /> id <br /> Mr.Whritenour recommended the Board defer approval at this time to <br /> review the position in depth,and address this matter at the May Town <br /> Meeting. <br /> i { <br /> f <br /> Selectman agreed,and recommended the Board clearly review the <br /> f <br /> objectives and responsibilities of the position further. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye to allow Article #S to <br /> remain on the Town Meeting Warrant as defined. <br /> 3 <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Dinizio. <br /> VOTE; 4-1. It was noted that the employee had a 5.1% salary increase this year. <br />
