Page 9 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> December 2, 1996 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: (continued) <br /> Annual Liquor License Renewals: <br /> Discussion followed with respect to the request of 99 West,Inc. <br /> to extend the license operation until 1:00 a.m. <br /> As a result of community input and concern, the Board granted the <br /> above operational license until 12:00 p.m. last year. <br /> Mr. James Kiley, operations Director for the 99 Restaurant indicated <br /> that the subject establishment currently serves food until midnight. At <br /> this time, we are presently losing business at this location stated Mr. Kiley <br /> who requested the Board allow this firm the opportunity to compete with <br /> local area businesses, and service the patrons. <br /> Selectman Caffyn related concern with respect to the area residents who <br /> spoke in objection to extension of hours. She suggested the Board give <br /> p � <br /> adequate notification to the abutters prior to approval. <br /> Selectman Caffyn also noted that the Raw Bar, Inc. closes at 12:00 p.m. <br /> due to residential concerns, and the close proximity of area condominiums. <br /> Selectman Marsters agreed, and recommended the Board allow the area <br /> residents to make comment on this matter. Selectman Dinizio added that <br /> there are no complaints relative to the subject establishment to date. <br /> *Agenda Item: Monday, December 16, 1996. <br /> Innh-old ll Alc h li • <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye to approve the Innholder <br /> All Alcoholic license renewal of; <br /> Cape Cod Convention Center, Inc. d/b/a Zachary's Pub <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters, <br /> YQTE: 4-1. Motion carries. <br /> Selectman Caffyn in opposition. <br />
