Page 11 Board of Selectmen Minutes December 2, 1996 APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: (continued) Liquor License Hearin - Cookes Restaurant. Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to approve the license application of Cookes-Mashpee, Inc. d/b/a Cookes for a Seasonal All. Alcoholic Beverages Restaurant Liquor license; subject to the Building Inspector's final review and approval, and subject to a certification of completion in accordance to plans; hours of operation: 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Motion seconded by Selectman Dinizio. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. It was noted that modified design changes will be attached to the license application. Public Hearin -The Flume Restaurant Re uest to Close: Selectman Costa opened the Public Hearing on the request of The Flume, Inc., d/b/a The Fiume, Earl H. Mills, Sr., Manager, to close from December 1, 1996, until March of 1997, due to a slow winter economy. Mrs.Janice Mills was present to discuss the request to close with members of the Board and interested public. Mr. Mills noted that the building is now twenty-five years old, and in need of minor repair. Selectman Costa opened the Public Hearing to obtain comment. Being none, Selectman Costa requested a vote from the Board to close the Public Hearing. Motion made by Selectman Dinizio to close the Public Hearing. Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. VQTE: Unanimous. 5-0. Motion made by Selectman Frye to approve the request of The Flume to close from December 1, 1996 until March 1997. Motion seconded by Selectman Dinizio. YOTE: Unanimous. 5-0.
