The Change order in the amount of$4,310.00 was <br /> recommended by the High School Building Committee for approval. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye to approve Change order #23 <br /> in the amount of $4,310.00 as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Caffyn. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Eauipment Bids for Approval_ <br /> Correspondence was received from Chartwell and Company dated <br /> October 18, 1996 recommending the Board approve the High School <br /> Furniture and Equip men t Bids as received from Tavares Design <br /> Associates in the amount of$214,536.66. <br /> It was noted that the High School Building Committee voted unanimously <br /> to recommend approval. All funds exist within the current budget of <br /> the project scope. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye to approve the Furniture <br /> and Equipment Bids in the amount of $214,536.66 as <br /> presented, <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> T <br /> E: Unanimous, 4-0. <br /> MMR. ISSUES: <br /> Develo mens of Groundwater Monitoring Plan: <br /> Correspondence was received from Woodard &Curran,Environmental <br /> Services dated September 27, 1996 relative to the subject proposal re: <br /> Development of Groundwater Monitoring Plan for the Massachusetts <br /> Military Reservation. <br /> Selectman Caffyn, a member of the Senior Management Team <br /> recommended the Board approve the proposal as outlined. It is estimated <br /> that the budget for the project will include; $7,000 to$8,000 in labor fee's, <br /> and approximately$1,000 in expenses. A budget of$9,000 is proposed <br /> for the scope of work. <br /> Selectman Caffyn addressed the tasks proposed to monitor the <br /> groundwater resources of the Town of Mashpee that may be effected by <br /> plumes emanating from the MMR. (enclosed) <br />
