16 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> February 11, 2019 <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Town Manager Rodney Collins: Updates (if any) on FY 2020 Budget, FY 2020 Capital Improvement <br /> Program May 2019 Town Meeting Article Submissions: (continued) <br /> The fiscal year 2020 budget includes an additional 8 hours to a Department of Natural Resources staff <br /> member from 32 hours to 40 hours per week. Benefits are included in this position. The Sewer <br /> Commission expense line item has decreased by $25,000. The funds are included in the Selectmen's <br /> Legal, Engineering and Consulting budget for value engineering. <br /> New growth is estimated at $1.1 million, and the excess levy capacity is targeted at $800,000. <br /> Town Manager Rodney C. Collins indicated the $2 million in budget reductions result in fiscal <br /> responsibility with full cooperation from the Town and Schools. <br /> The first draft of the Town Meeting warrant will be available for review at the next meeting. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to adjourn at 8:52 p.m. <br /> The Board will enter into Executive Session at this time for the purpose of discussing the <br /> consideration of the Purchase or Value of Real Property Located at 68 Great Neck Road South, <br /> Mashpee,MA as an Open Meeting may have a Detrimental Effect on the Negotiating Position of the <br /> Town, Pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 30A, Section 21(a)(6).
