Review of Shellfish Aquaculture Regulations and Application Procedures: <br /> Scheduling a time to go over the Shellfish Aquaculture Regulations, Shellfish License Application Procedures, <br /> and the town's Shellfish Regulations. The best time to do this would be at our next scheduled Shellfish <br /> Commission meeting. The agenda will be set to review each item on February 12th, 2019. <br /> Motion: Thomas made a motion to schedule the review of all Shellfish Regulations for Mashpee at the <br /> February 12th, 2019 Shellfish Commission meeting. Marques seconded the motion. All voted unanimously in <br /> favor. <br /> Public Access: <br /> No update. <br /> Question about what are the actual rights to water access: Can anyone pass through private property based on <br /> the colonial ordinance? It is still unknown. <br /> Motion: Holmes made a motion to research existing paper roads for possible access and a new family area in <br /> Ockway Bay. Christensen seconded the motion. All voted unanimously in favor. <br /> New Business <br /> Shellfish Aquaculture Licensed Grant Holder Meeting:Scheduling a review of grant regulations and <br /> shellfish sanitation guidelines for the 2019 vibrio season. <br /> Chris Schillaci from the state will be coming to Mashpee this year to train our grant holders and commercial <br /> harvesters in vibrio control measures. In the next couple of months the shellfish division will be scheduling a <br /> meeting with all the stakeholders to review the terms of either their Shellfish Aquaculture license or commercial <br /> shellfish permit in Mashpee. The training will include: <br /> 1.) Grant cleanliness and proper markings <br /> 2.) Procedures to selling product to market <br /> 3.) Proper tagging <br /> 4.) Vibrio Control and Logs <br /> 5.) Yearly product Log <br /> 6.) Gear distribution and identification <br /> More topics may be added based on need. <br /> Additional Tonics <br /> The minutes from 5-8-2018 were found and written. <br /> Motion: Thomas made a motion to approve the 5-8-2018 minutes. Christensen seconded the motion. All voted <br /> unanimously in favor. <br /> Adiournment <br /> Motion to adjourn made by Thomas 8:45 pm, seconded by Holmes.
