Explanation: This article is necessary to fund previous fiscal year unpaid compensation in order <br /> to meet the Town's contractual obligations. <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommends approval of Article 4 by a vote of 5-0. <br /> The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 4 by a vote of 6-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman John Cahalane. <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $675.35 from revenue <br /> available for appropriation to the prior year salary account for allocation as specified in Article 4. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:14 PM. <br /> Article 5 <br /> To see if the Town will appropriate and transfer pursuant to the provisions of M.G.L. C. 44B, §6 <br /> to reserve from the Community Preservation Fund Budgeted for Appropriation Reserve, the <br /> following amounts: <br /> $5,504 10% Open Space/Recreation Purposes <br /> $5,504 10% for Historic Purposes <br /> $5,504 10% for Community Housing Purposes <br /> or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Community Preservation Committee <br /> Explanation: This is a "clean-up" article to meet the requirement of reserving funds from the <br /> supplemental CPA FY 2018 Trust Fund distribution. The amount of FY 2018 CPA state <br /> reimbursement received by the Town of Mashpee was $55,038 higher than the initial estimate. <br /> We are required to set aside 10% of those excess funds and deposit them into each of the CPA <br /> reserves. Funding shall derive from the Community Preservation Budgeted for Appropriation <br /> Reserve. <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommends approval of Article 5 by a vote of 5-0. <br /> The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 5 by a vote of 6-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Andrew Gottlieb. <br /> 3 <br />
