Article 2 To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer from available funds the sum of$41,500 to fund the settlement for the Administrator's Contract Units A, B, C effective July 1, 2013, with said funds to be distributed to various salary line items by the Town Accountant, or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by the Board of Selectmen Explanation: If approved this article would provide funding for a cost of living adjustment for those employees who fall under the labor contract between the Town and Massachusetts Laborers' District Council of the Laborers' International Union of North America Units A, B and C. Board of Selectmen recommends approval by a vote of 5-0. Finance Committee recommends approval by a vote of 5-0; 2 absent. Motion made by Selectman Michael Richardson Motion: I move the Town vote to appropriate and transfer from the Overlay Surplus Account $41,500 to fund the settlement for the Administrator's Contract Units A, B, and C effective July 1, 2013, with said funds to be distributed to various salary line items by the Town Accountant. Motion passes unanimously at 7:12 PM. Article 3 To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer from available funds the sum of$26,850 to fund the settlement for the SEN, Local 888, AFL CIO, Public Works Unit effective July 1, 2013, with said funds to be distributed to various salary line items by the Town Accountant, or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by the Board of Selectmen Explanation: If approved this article would provide funding for a cost of living adjustment for those employees who fall under the labor contract between the Town and SEN, Local 888, AFL CIO, Public Works Unit. Board of Selectmen recommends approval by a vote of 5-0. Finance Committee recommends approval by a vote of 5-0; 2 absent. Motion made by Selectman Thomas O'Hara. 2
