Collins <br /> Assistant Town Manager Wayne E, Taylor <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Sherman at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Town Hall,Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> JOINT MEETING—BOARD OF SELECTMEN, CONSERVATION COMMISSION, <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH,PLANNING BOARD, SEWER COMMISSION, ZONING BOARD <br /> OF APPEALS <br /> VISION MEETING-WASTEWATER <br /> Meeting Called to Order by the respective Town of Mashpee Conservation Commission,Board of <br /> Health,Planning Board, Sewer Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals at 6:31 p.m. <br /> Acting on the matter of wastewater,the Board of Selectmen met with the referenced regulatory <br /> officials to review the Town of Mashpee Comprehensive Wastewater Management Plan with Jeff <br /> Gregg of GHD, Inc., the Town's consulting engineer for the purpose of reviewing the components <br /> and analysis of the Plan. On tomorrow evening,the meeting will reconvene to continue the <br /> wastewater review regarding best practices for managing operations,watershed agreements,and <br /> potential site locations and revenue streams. <br /> APPOINTMENTS &HEARINGS <br /> Public Comment: None at this time. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Briefing on Mashpee's existing Comprehensive Wastewater Management Plan: What it is and how it <br /> works for us and our nei hgz boring communities—Jeff Gregg, GHD: Mashpee's Wastewater <br /> Consulting Engineer,with support from Mashpee Department of Natural Resources: <br /> GHD consulting engineer Jeff Gregg facilitated the workshop to review Watershed Nitrogen <br /> Management Planning and Implementation. The project planning area includes the Waquoit Bay <br /> east watershed which includes parts of the Towns of Falmouth and Sandwich, and the Popponesset <br /> Bay watershed which includes portions of the Towns of Sandwich and Barnstable. The watershed <br /> areas are noted to be above pollution levels. <br /> The Plan recommends a combination of wastewater collection systems, and adaptive management <br /> approaches with emphasis on shellfish propagation expansion. <br />
