PLANNING BOARD Town of Mashpee PLANNING BOARD MINUTES: April 21, 1982 TIME: 8:10 pm. ma-BERS PRESENT: Richard Terry, Richardson Jonas, Harold Collins, Don Blakeman MEMBERS ABSENT: Earle Marsters CONSULTING ENGINEER: Charles L. Rowley The minutes were adopted and approved for April 7, 1982. Mary Lopez Meetinghouse Rd. Presented a plan subdividing her land and showing Goodspeed Meetinghouse Rd. as the way of access to the newly created lot. The Planning Board informed Mrs. Lopez that it can't be used as it is an ancient way. The lot must front a layed-out road or else a new 40' wide road must be built. The Board suggested Mrs. Lopez use 125' on Meetinghouse Rd. as frontage and go in from there and cut a 20' wide driveway as an access to the lot. Mrs. Lopez said she will return at the next meeting with a revised plan. No action was taken. The Preliminary Plan of "Bufflehead" was discussed. The Board disapproved of the plan for the following reasons: Some lots are not dimensioned; have missing areas. Well sites are not considered suitable. Some pipes for drainage run into lot areas; drainage easements not large enough to accept water. Pipes should extend from basins out to the bog and not stop at a lot. Tremendous number of leeching basins should be piped where possible. Some areas that are low can be used as drainage areas. There is no recreational area. Poor arrangement of Sheet -#5 - pie-shaped lots taper down to nothing which would be of no use to owner. It was unanimously voted to send a letter to Mr. Burden stating their refection and the reasons why.
