Phosphorous is the nutrient limiting algae growth in the pond. They
estimated that % ofthe total phosphorous load was coming from the sediments. The
use of solar circulators combined reduction of phosphorous from fertilizers, septic
sterns and surface runoff phosphorous should reduce the algae blooms below the
eutrophic level.
Mashpee- aleby: no report
Water Quality Test Program: no report
Sewer Commi i n:No report
Barnstable County Coastal Resources Update:No report
Public Access: No report
Waterways Improvement Plan and Dredging: Mr. Bates reported a recap of TOY Restrictions
discussion with the State and CE will occur at our next regularly scheduled meeting.
