-Vater Quality Test Program <br /> Steve Pinard reported on a very successful season that concluded with the last Fest Day <br /> on August 28 th. This year all went smoothly largely due to a strong core of experienced <br /> p <br /> Boat Captains and volunteers. The guidance of Bay Captains Al Wic el, and John West, <br /> with ongoing assistance of Rick York helped male it all happen. Steve Pinard noted that <br /> the Program should continue to operate successfully in future years because ofthis <br /> dedication and commitment of the volunteers. <br /> -Barnstable County Coastal Resources Committee-Al Vi lel no report <br /> -Sever Committee update-Al Wickel no report <br /> -Public Access Update-Al Wickel no report <br /> -Waterways Improvement Plan and Dredging <br /> Ken Bates reported that a meeting with the lrlashpee IPJ has not yet been scheduled but <br /> will take place soon. Ken Bates updated all regarding the progress of the Dredge Permits <br /> for the 1916 Channel maintenance dredge. He reported that the Permit and License <br /> applications,prepared by the Engineers, have been submitted to the Department of <br /> Environmental Protection and the Arany Corp. of Engineers . It is hoped that approvals <br /> will be issued in time for dredging to take place this year. <br /> New Business <br /> notion was made by Perry Ellis and 2nd by Steve Pinard to approved payment on an <br /> invoice received from Applied Coastal Engineers in the amount of$4903.16. It was <br /> unanimously passed. <br /> motion to adjourn was made by Steve Pinard at 9:2 M, 2nd by Perry Ellis, and <br /> unanimously approved. <br /> NEXT MEETING WILL BE MELD , N OCTOBER 12,2010 AT THE MASHPEE <br /> TOWN HALL, !f r <br /> k4 <br /> j +� <br />
