The State supported the request that additional meetings need to be <br /> held locally to enable a larger participation from local residents. Ken Bates will keep the Board of <br /> Selectmen appraised of the progress. <br /> Correspondence <br /> Ken Bates read a letter from BSC regarding the Popponesset Spit sand breaks and the <br /> need to reduce vehicle traffic in those areas. A copy of a neer invoice received by the <br /> Commission but seat to the town will be held pending further clarification. Ken Bates <br /> ill contact the Town to resolve the stags. Ken Bates also reviewed correspondence <br /> regarding Board of Health meeting slates,Upcoming meeting agendas from the <br /> Conservation Commission, and a Petition for a new Tek on Popponesset Bay that was <br /> seat by the Conservation Commission. <br /> A request from Ocean and Coastal Consultants, Inc, requesting an opportunity to meet <br /> with the Waterways Commission was received. Ken Bags asked Steve Pinard to contact <br /> Sarah Harnm,, from the firm and arrange for the presentation after the Commissiong reed <br /> to have them attend.
